This Week: The Last Chicago Morning
I know you thought this day would never get here, but we have arrived. My last set of Chicago photos! What a great trip that was. This year I'm concentrating on paying off my credit card so I can clear the decks to take many more trips in the future.
My plan for my last morning was to go to the Field Museum, but the morning dawned so clear and crisp I went to Millennium Park instead to finally get my blue sky shots. After that I just started walking and it ended up taking the whole morning. I walked from Millennium Park down to the Field Museum and then over to the lovely library to catch a train back and check out of my hotel. It was a spontaneous morning outing. I'm not good at spontaneous most of the time so when it works out as well as this did it has a special place in my heart.
