Scenes from a Bike Ride | Friday Oct 29, 2010
A few weeks ago I went on a Sunday morning bike ride. I was looking specifically for street art and I rode my bike over to a part of Houston that is known for it. I only found one big piece, but lots of other interesting things to look at including a flower mural, a crab on the side of a dumpster, a skeleton ticket taker and a gargoyle perched on a house. You see so much more from a bicycle than you ever do from a car and you can cover so much more ground in a bicycle than you can by walking. I love it. The cooler weather has finally arrived to stay I think and work is finally going to let me enjoy my weekends so I see many more bike rides in my future.
