This Week: Millennium Park
From the first day the park opened the children of Chicago took this fountain as their own. The fountain is made up of two 50 foot glass towers that displays images of Chicago residents. The towers are on either end of a shallow black granite reflecting pool. The fountain alternates between water cascading down the tower and a spout that appears and shoots out one stream. The water runs from mid-Spring to mid-Fall and the images run year round.
