My name is Laurie and I am a music teacher living in Houston, TX. I first started blogging in February of 2004 as a way to participate in photo memes with my new digital camera. I enjoyed both blogging and photoblogging so much that in September 2004 I split my photos off to their own site. I have been an avid blogger ever since. My sites have traveled through different homes and different names, but I still maintain both a personal blog and a photoblog.
Photography is a way for me to get out into the city and enjoy my free time. Most of my photography focuses on exploring the neighborhoods, architecture, parks, museums, festivals, events and all the other happenings, locations and details that make up the landscape of my life. I use both digital and film cameras and enjoy them both equally.
