My brain loves creating systems. The planning and the problem solving. Figuring out all the details.
But here's the problem. One of two things happen.
#1 I try my new system and if there is one thing that doesn't work, I throw the whole thing into the trash and scrap it.
#2 I get 90% of it done and then I can't move forward the last 10% to start doing it because I'm stuck on some small detail.
That is where I am currently with my photos. I have a huge backlog that I need to work on and I have figured out how I'm going to go through all the digital folders that I just labeled "iPhone dump" and threw onto the Smugmug servers. That addresses photos of the past, but what about the current and future ones? Where am I sharing photos? Flickr? My Smugmug site? Instagram? What about personal photos versus my more public facing ones? That's a peek into my brain.
Here is the thing. Most people would probably just start something and tweak or work on it as they go along. But see problem #1. So my brain is just going around and around, inching forward slowly.
And I keep taking photos.
